This movie was the one that I prefer

British accent, pretty smart actress, romantic plot + shocking and reflective ending

What is the meaning of an education for a girl?

I think the movie explains this issue pretty well

as for me ,

I do believe a good college education may provide a girl with a broad horizon, an insightful brain, a bunch of real good friends, and sometimes, a threshold oppotunity for the potential success.

However, school can not prepare her with everything she needs in the future life, for example,  some truth about society and human weakness. Experience from life, tortures in particular, would complete a sound "Education".

马不停地飞回上海，

就为了睡个好觉，参加第二天的论文答辩

索性，之前种种的deadline压力在那个下午总算有所回报

一群老师艰难围攻我一小时之后，终于把学位恩赐给我了

很奇怪，算是一桩大事……居然没有大肆庆祝

估计被压迫的太久，神经都麻木了

 

剩下几天都忙着各种各样bt的阅卷工作

连同学的散伙饭都是在赶场中进行

新年的第一个工作日，经历了一些上上下下的情绪波动

头天晚上有些小失眠

想到一些不开心的事情

以至于睁眼之后，继续精神恍惚

在起床吃早饭和赖床做梦之间举棋不定

估计中间小睡着一会

直到……被某ＨＲ的面试电话正式wake up

好吧，估计这是最有效的叫起床方式了

还要哆嗦着找出纸笔记录一些注意事项

 

还未洗漱完毕，直接打开笔记本收邮件

居然收到某leading technical corporation的笔试通知

想想刚才的面试offer, 情绪一下子变得高涨起来

看来２０１０有个good sign, 希望之前的霉运赶紧褪去

Hiahia...

 

下午很充实

忙碌的填些表格，找相关人士签字

或是抽空做下网上的笔试题库

又是英文做数学题，偶的速度啊……

以至于在校园里骑车飞奔的时候突然想起早上郁闷的原因

真是太没有意义了

 

如果这样一天就这样结束的话，也不能称之为情绪起伏吧

正是做笔试题的时候居然发现有一整部分的 Computer Science Knowledge (Advanced)

晕啊，明明是non-technical　的管理岗位，怎么会有这种专业问题

估计是发错通知了，要么就是系统故障

2009年岁末的时候

跟室友闲聊，得出一个结论

偶的2009年实在是太衰了，仅次于2006年的本命年

好吧……于是乎年前停止了所有的CV投递

希望2010年所有的事情有个良性的开始：）

 

基本上今年的跨年都在shopping中度过

31号拉着朋友横扫淮海中路，居然还没累趴下，继续逛南京路的置地广场

有种不惧人流的大无畏精神

其实，主要就是去人挤人的，

只在H & M小有收获，败回一件紫色的中袖T－shirt

1日在寝室休整，看了酝酿许久的Fight Club

(虽然bloody violent, 看到最后发现还是一部好片，很有戏剧感)

2日拿着朋友新办的vip卡，继续百盛血拼

近期似乎特别钟情紫色，从夏天的oasis连衣裙的开始

想买件紫色的短外套，未果

淘回一件紫色毛衣＋紫色内衣，心中的购物欲才慢慢打压下去

跟朋友去吃了很甜的donut－－Big apple

回来看了部Heartbreaker, 老牌搞笑片，Sounds good~

 

今天是元旦假期的最后一天

心里默念着应该开始有追求的新生活了

整理了下一直很无语的刘海

总算勉强能够入眼

处理掉一些旧物

该放手该扔掉的还是不要放在那里碍眼吧

恩，昂贵的swarovski就这么被我当掉了……虽然有些不舍

拎着本本很有前途的来到图书馆准备答辩的ppt讲稿

居然——全场爆满，上上下下晃了一整圈也没找着个座位

这才想起快到考试周了，交大都是些用功的好孩子

找了个长沙发，看借来的<LA流浪记>

蔡康永在UCLA一些有趣的读研经历

说不定哪天有情绪我也可写本《那些在HUST游荡的日子》

虽然工作没啥着落，论文搞定，开始有些心宽体胖

倒腾许久的新刘海渐渐变自然，终于可以见人

哎，怪不得室友说我是没事瞎折腾

关于未来，希望follow my heart

冥冥之中有股力量牵引我走到现在的地步，

命运自会有它的安排：）

本科毕业的时候，

笑称HUST给我打下了成长的烙印：

骄傲，勤奋，而又ambitious

很大程度上它是我愿意留在WH的原因之一

 

后来，我觉得交大不大会给我这种感觉

读研是我企图融入城市的一个过渡

SH让我觉得市侩，高消费，节奏紧凑，有些喘不过气来

希望通过校园生活渐入佳境，认识一些单纯而又没有利益冲突的朋友

事实上，前两年的研究生生涯大致如此

按部就班的听课，考试，写论文，满上海的阅卷

回到寝室看电影，睡觉，偶尔运动，shopping，或是结伴去近郊旅行

认识一些似熟不熟的朋友见面寒暄，娱乐一下，也还不错～

直到最近半年，让我改观很多

开始拿着相机校园里瞎拍，尝试explore一些没有踏入的禁地

and also sort of real communication and heartfelt appreciation with others

算算还有几个月就毕业了，转来一些别人拍的美图：）

跟华工相比，闵行交大没有那么多的参天大树，但有更多的湖啊，小桥流水like

很有气势的凯旋门，改天穿学位服去拍～

大爱傍晚绚烂的晚霞，估计在郊区的缘故，特别常见……

Library

Just finished "Julie and Julia" this weekend, it was based on two true stories.

Julie posted a blog "Julie/Julia project" on the Internet, which she planned to complete 524 recipes within 365 days, following Julia Child's well-known "Mastering the Art of French Cooking".

And of course, Julia Child's own story was the other line of the movie.

The movie was just so so, a little bit dull in the beginning, more cheerful in the rest 1/5 part

However, Julie's project reminds me of my own 101 project here

Actually, I spent 2 hours in the bed this morning after wakeup,

daydreaming how I successfully complete all the goals by 2012

That'll be amazing!

倒不是留学本身，而是对生活的态度

偶的大学同学要属所有接触人群里最为执着而努力的一群人

不论性格怎样，家庭环境也相差甚远

毕业五六年以来，在大部分人都觉得女人应当安定下来的年纪

时常会有一些惊人之举

恩，总结下来就是辞职，走人，换个城市，换份心情，奔向更美好的将来

倒不是大家都想做女强人

而是清楚自己想要什么

不想在所谓的“安定”中耗费下去

人生苦短

应该做自己想做的事情

也曾反省自己的“任性”，不计后果

那又怎样，

以后可以聚在一起大声笑着说

“我们一起有过放浪形骸的青春”

电影很温馨，笑料不断。

电影里面有句台词：“有人在吗？”结果一个小朋友赶紧说：在～ ……

哎，连卡通人物也跟着我们一起成长开始营造家庭生活了

2. 麦兜响当当

NC中影看的，国语版：（ （似乎在影院都没看到原版语种，有些遗憾）

又是国语版，其实宋丹丹配的还好了，感觉两个小朋友配的不够可爱。

边看可以边回忆下武汉的热干面，鸭脖子……

3.飞屋环行记 / Up

NC万达看的首映，看完e美又告诉我另一家影院有英文原版放映，好吧～

不一样的故事，时常有惊喜，还有很温馨的感动……

e美说这是话痨电影，就是从头到尾一直就是男女主角在keep on talking

1. At least 40 people have been killed and more than 60 injured in a huge bomb explosion in the center of the southern Afghan city of Kandahar . Rescue workers have been searching through the rubble for survivors. Chris Morris reports from Kabul. The attack took place in the early evening, when Afghans were breaking their fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Officials in Kandahar said they believed a huge bomb was hidden in a patrol tank or a truck. Windows across the city were shattered by the force of the blast. The offices of a Japanese-owned construction company were destroyed. The number of the nearby building including a wedding hall were badly damaged, local officials have blamed the Taliban for the attack, in a region where the insurgency is strong.

Hours earlier, preliminary results from last week's presidential election in Afghanistan showed President Karzai with a narrow lead over his nearest rival Abdullah Abdullah, with 10% of all the ballots counted, the election commission said the Mr Karzai has 41% of the votes to 39% of Mr. Abdullah.

2. Iraq and Syria have recalled their ambassadors from each other's capitals in a row over last-week's suicide bombings in Baghdad which killed more than 100 people. Iraqi state television has broadcast the alleged confession of an organizer of the bombings, who said he received his order from two Syrian-based members of the Saddam Hussein 's Baathist party. Our Arab affairs analyst Midi Abudhadi reports. "Last week, the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki traveled to Damascus for talks on security cooperation, and the visit ended with a whole restricted commitment to help Iraq becomes stable and prosperous. But the decision by the two governments through recall the ambassadors underline that behind the diplomatic messages, serious tension between the two countries remain." And since the overthrown of Saddam Hussein in 2003, both Baghdad and Washington have appointed the finger at Syria for harboring Iraqi's and other Arab militants banned on overthrowing the Iraqi government.

3. Special fraud police in Nigeria say they are preparing to make further arrests of the prominent business men and other debtors who owe billions of dollars to the country's troubled banks. The move comes with the eminent expiry of the deadline for those owing money to return it, fromLagos, Caroline Duffield reports. The chief of the Nigerian special fraud police Farida Waziri says that  her office are preparing to question the Nigerian elite debtors, they include the wealthiest and most powerful tycoons in Africa. They are being blamed for bringing five major banks close to collapse by failing to pay their debts. Many of the individual van businessmen public name by the Nigerican authorities are protesting, they say they are disputing belt charges or that they have the service of their loans, or the authorities have got the numbers wrong.

4. Leading French bankers have agreed to curb excessive bonuses after being summoned to a meeting with President Nicolas Sarkozy. Bank leaders said the bonuses would now only be based on long-term profits rather than short-term speculation and there would be penalties for traders who subsequently lose money.

5. President Obama has nominated Ben Bernanke for a second term as Charman of the Federal Reserve of the United States Central Bank. The president said Mr Bernanke has shown calmness and creativity in facing the financial crisis. Here is our economic correspondent Andrew Walker . 6. A mass burial has been held in Tanzania for 12 schoolgirls aged between 13 and 16 , who died in a fire in their dormitory on Saturday. The bodies were burned beyond recognition and they have to placed in unnamed graves until they can be identified individually by DNA testing. Tanzania police say the fire was probably caused by candle used by one of the girls to study at night.

7. A group of engineers from Hampshire in the south of England have broken the world's longest-standing land speed record--the fastest speed for a steam-driven car. The record-breaking car,nicknamed the world's fastest kettle, reached an average speed of 225 km/h over two rounds at the Edward Airforce Base in California. Previous record was set by an American 103 years ago.
